Sunday Blues....

Ya you heard that right... Sunday Blues.... haiz...

Just came back from a birthday celebration for GYC (24/09) and Apple (25/09) and i must say it left a bittersweet feeling for me. It was great meeting up as a group again for occasions like these, even if the number of attendees is getting smaller and smaller each time. What's more, with Qunwei dressing up in his youngest attire, looking almost a decade younger, it really felt like we were a bunch of JC / University mates going out for a fun weekend!

The downside however, is that i find it hard to hide the fact that i'm leaving these close friends of mine in just little over a month's time, and that kinda gets me down quite a bit. I've already felt it some time ago but it gets increasingly obvious each time we meet up nowadays. I'm already mentally prepared to take the flight to the US already but yea... i know i'm really really REALLY gonna miss lots of people here....

"So whose birthday was it?"

I guess all i can do now is bear with it but as the day comes closer, i wonder how hard it's gonna hit me. For now though, i'll just try to keep myself mentally prepared. Already been trying to talk to some people whom i know are overseas to try and find out as much as i can about how life's gonna be like when i'm outta here.... If any of you do have some tips, do feel free to gimme a ring or an SMS, i'm always available man...

I checked with a friend who came bk 2 weeks ago fm H**. Apparently, it's not as bad as you think it would be. For a start, housing is still plentiful since H** is so big. But that was 2 wks ago, not sure if anything's changed since then.

Anyway, it should be winter by the time you get there. Buy warm slippers to wear around the house. Socks doesn't help much. Also, use lotsa moisturiser and lip balm; your face and lips may crack from the very dry weather. It's likely that both u and your partner are gonna get extremely home-sick. Prepare for a lot of crying from her. Also, bring inflatable bolsters; cos i think ang mohs don't use bolsters one.
