Bracing Myself.....

Did i mention to you that being in the army is really great?? Reaching home at 4 plus yesterday was excellent, but today wasn't too far off.... course starts at 830, 930 got canteen break till 10, lesson till 11, then relax till lunch!!! After lunch it was a lesson all the way till 330, and then it was pool and arcade all the way till 5 before we booked out!!! Really starting to enjoy reservist life now man.... Wat a pity my unit is still pretty ON so i've gotta pia quite a bit when i'm back there next year... Oh well, i believe in basking in the glory of the moment.. and my oh my how glorious this 3 weeks is gonna be!!!! Woohoo!!

Finally got around to meeting up with my ex today...... "EX?!!?" I hear u ask loudly in front of your screen!! But dun worry... i meant ex-colleague of course!! My gd fren from office, Huey Shan... ex-AA, EY, KP, and PwC auditor (she regrets not collecting a DT employment letter....), and now plying her trade somewhere else NON-audit related... It was really great to catch up with her after so long man, and it was good to see that she didn't have the sad, dejected "audit" look about her anymore!! (This has been replaced by a confused, blur, "i-dunno-wat-i'm-doing" look but that's another story....) A good dinner at Ichiban Boshi* at Esplanade was topped with sinful dessert at Max Brenners**. What a way to spend a Tuesday.....

Last but not least, today is the last day i'm gonna see my crooked teeth naked in all their glory. Tomorrow's my Braces day if you all know and i'm seriously having butterflies in my stomach knowing that its a 3-year commitment. Argh... oh heck.. i still managed to take a photo one last time, and hopefully someone out there might use it as a "Before-and-After" ad... Think of the money man... Ok ok here goes nothing:

Yes yes i know my teeth ain't anything to be proud of but i really wanna be able to see the diff in 3 yrs time. No time to be afraid anymore man.... BRING EM ON!!!

 

*Ichiban Boshi: Excellent Jap food at affordable prices. Had a Unadon+Zaru Soba Set and a Katsu Don and Salmon Sashimi Set at $16.80 each. 
 
**Max Brenners: Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. Try the fondue at $20 for 2 persons. If possible bring your own marshmallow and bread to make full use of the extra chocolate!
