SusiLOST?!?!

Olympics
Well... alot of you Singaporeans would have known by now.. our only hope for an Olympic Medal, Ronald Susilo, has fallen at the hands of the Thai Quarterfinalist. Haiz... was walking around Suntec, and saw a whole bunch of people gathering at a TV at Carrefour all just to support him! Guess we're all disappointed, but we should also keep in mind that he's got to keep his chin up! He may not have won a medal, but he has made headwaves by getting to the quarters and beating a world no. 1 along the way! Let's all be proud of him yes?? Coz he really deserves it!!

I, Robot

Also managed to catch I, Robot today... part of the free movie thing again. I'm sure alot of you know i was supposed to catch The Notebook, but as Sharon and i went in the cinema, we had a gut feeling that I, Robot would be a better bet (but mainly coz we were tired and preferred an action flick.. haha). Will Smith, as usual, turned in his typical style of mixing humour and action. Very much like his roles in Independance Day and Bad Boys, where he finds himself in tough situations.... this however, about robots running amok in the country, seems more Matrix-ish than anything else if you ask me. The plot runs eerily similar to The Animatrix's "Second Renaissance", except that this has a proper ending of course.

What i can say about the show though, is that its actually quite enjoyable... despite all the negative reviews i've got from some of my friends. True, the story seems a little cheesy at first, but as the story progresses and with Will Smith carrying the movie on his own, you find that it gets quite interesting with twists and turns plus lots of action. Graphics aren't too bad too, and it's not just for sci-fi fans as the plot is well written (i mean.. even SHARON likes it.. ahhaah).

Tim's Movie Rating - I, Robot ====> 3.5/5
Will hates robots. Robots hate will. Will fights robots. Robots then kill.
Simple enough? Well there's alot more to this show than that... watch for the smart twists in the story and fun action, which make it more than just an average popcorn flick!

Last but not least, i was shocked to find a guest at home today.

"Spot looks old for his age while i look young for mine." Posted by Hello

My cousin Jamie and her family has left for Thailand and Spot here, feeling lonely at home, knocked on our door this afternoon and my parents were more than happy to take him in for the week. Really cute dude although he looks a bit mature for his age (7 months).
