Wasted Warrior....
Whoa... haven't been blogging regularly for the past weekend... and i think i know why.... Too many things were going on for me during this period of time, and i totally TOTALLY had no time at all to blog at all.. (this has NOTHING to do with me being lazy of coz.. :P) Lets's see, what happened during the weekend? Here's a short recap....
Friday night:
Played Billiards and Pool with Wen the shen, Rey the gay and many others. Think it's one of the rare times i've joined them in the game but i found it pretty fun... especially since i felt i've improved after my 3 weeks on... err... reservist training! (i still sug though...) Played up till 2am before going for supper and reaching home 3 plus... amazing....
Saturday:
First of all, met up with Yee Chung, Yew Han and coincidentally, Lee Han to play Winning 11 8 at my place!!! Managed to get the game a week ago for 5 ringgit and we've all been addicted to it quite a bit these few days. This kept us busy for a couple of hours until we went to play soccer for the Orange Team, minus Lee Han of course. What was supposed to be a straightforward game, turned out to be a real dud, as our opponents didn't have enough players, and we had to provide em with a few, including Yee Chung. We got well raped then, and lost 2-0... but the worst humiliation was letting Yee Chung score the goal of course.. hahaha.. hope our next outing will be much much better...
Of course, as with every normal Saturday, the Fellowship met us at Victoria Food Centre again. Big big loser of $14 this time was Ivan, who got played out by Charlton's last min goal, and Yew Han ended up winning $16, with the other 5 of us paying $0.50 as we were tied at 7 pts. Wonder if Ivan will be back next week, or whether we've scared him away. Good news for the weekend of course though, was United's first 3 points after winning 2-1 against Norwich!! An excellent volleyed goal by Alan Smith topped a good display, although the defence yet again looked suspect when they pulled a goal back.

To top the night though, Jo, Yee Chung and Soon came over to my house to play Winning 11 the whole night long. I did tell you we were addicted didn't i?

Sunday:
Of course, after playing Winning 11 till 630 in the morning, we were all wasted.. but somehow or rather we still managed to play morning soccer. Had another fun session although by the end of it all, i was really feeling lethargic, and as i got back home and had a good bath, i was totally knocked out till 8pm. I wouldn't call it a nap, as NO nap should last that long....
After dinner though, i did get a surprise from my Sharon. She came over to see how i was doing coz she knew i was knackered out, and it really made my day to see her!! Having her around was the best way to cap a wonderful weekend.... The downer of it all though, was Arsenal's ridiculous come-from-behind win against Boro. Shan't go in to detail, but all i can say is, they really don't look like they're gonna lose it this year... but i'm keeping my fingers crossed though.. :)
