My new home...

I'm sure alot of you have been waiting anxiously to see how we've been living over here in Houston... so i thought i'd post some pics of my new "Home" away from home (nice phrase there Miss Cheng)! Anyway before that, here are some details you might need... try looking for us on Google Earth!!

Address: Parc Royale Apartments, 2727 Elmside Drive, Houston, TX, 77042
(so much easier than S'pore addresses)

Home phone: 713-953-****
Cell-phone: 832-433-****
(so much HARDER than S'pore numbers. Anyway MSN or email me for the full numbers. Being a mini national celebrity i don't wanna give my full addy nor telephone numbers)

Oh yes if you wanna send me a free SMS when u have nothing to do, log on HERE, and just SMS us as we're all under the same telco, T-Mobile.

First of all, here's a great pic of us having a nice, home-cooked dinner.... (no more instant noodles.. yippee!!) Check out the ravaged chicken in Wen's hand...

"Happy Family"

And here's a full pic of my Living Room... everything you see there was put together with my hands through blood and sweat man.. DIY rocks! (ok everything except the TV and Speakers la...)

Now here's the most important area in my apartment... the KITCHEN!!! This is where Sharon and I do our stuff..... as in COOKING you ass...

"Looks neat don't it??"

Ahh.. now the bedroom... guess you can't see much now but at least you can see we have a nice comfy place to sleep on, with a warm comforter which is a MUST in winter!!

"Sharon, the Iron-Woman."

And in my room, here's the walk-in wardrobe... Yes it doesn't look like much but it's good enough for Sharon and I... woohoo!

"Walk-in... there's only space for one step!"

Last but not least, the toilet. Also not really big but good enough, as it means we don't have much to clean!!! Hooray for the bathtub too.... even if i have to struggle to squeeze into it... hehe

"Check out the retro shower curtains!!"

Guess that's it for now... tune in for more soon!!

Neighbors (<---- that's the American spelling!!)

AAhhh.. the wonders of having time on your side.... and funny-ass neighbors to make fun of.... Just in case you didn't know, Zhanwen and Celia are staying right opposite of me.. sorta like Jo and me back in hall days... and it's great having friends like them around! I mean... who else can i play pranks on and irritate?? :P

"This is Wen pretending to be at work.... while i'm typing this. Erm..."

"And this is Celia REALLY at work... she's a dreamcatcher you see...."

PS: Celia i had no choice but to post this pic after you told me NOT to. Muahahahahha....

Hello from Houston!

Enuff about peanuts already!!! Hahaha... i can't believe how long i've not updated this blog but i guess now, in the office, with my excellent Dell comp and with loadsa time on my hands... i think it finally IS the time to do so... hee...

So here i am now... in my 2nd month in Houston... everything is really going fine and Sharon has finally been here a week already... and yea she's starting to do a little (VERY little in fact) housework in our apartment. Not that I'M not doing anything but just that she's got more time at home as she can't start work till she gets her Social Security, which took me forever and the card isn't even here yet! Fug!

Of course, i'm really missing each and every one of you over here... the people here are really nice and love to talk alot but in all seriousness, i miss the times i spend in s'pore with my friends and family, whether it'd be watching soccer, watching movies, playing soccer, late night suppers, EVEN more soccer, etc. I do hope you all still think of me every once in a while yeah, coz i do think of you guys all the time. A move like this halfway round the world really opens your eyes and makes you realise how many things you've taken for granted back home.

Anywayz, Christmas is coming and i hope all of you have a nice one... my family with Isabelle at home, with the lit Christmas Tree (Tiff, Mum and Dad have put it up already right?) and presents at the bottom.... and my friends, who will be having a steamboat too, with gift exchanges and fun and games just like last year.... no matter what you all are doing, do have a good time alright? Here's some great pics for you all which are way waaaaaaaaay overdue...

"PwC asses... :)"

"My family at the airport... "

That's all for now... watch out for more posts and pics from Houston!!
