Stock Taker

Haiz... just finished one of the latest stock takes i've ever had since i came to PwC.... reached home at 3pm.. Argh.... Why did it take so long? Simply, it was because i had to double the samples (as is the case with my other stock takes), and the inventory was pretty hard to count.. with lotsa different locations especially those irritatingly high ones whereby the aids of forklifts were needed.... heng there was an A1 with me... Ivan Lim... or i would have died a horrible death today...

Good part of the day though, was 2 chio babes working in that warehouse, who volunteered to help me count my samples and followed me everywhere for most of the day. Not very young... possibly close to 30 (wait a min.. so am i!!), but still looking pretty good and very friendly!! If only i was always so lucky with my other stock takes man... sighz...

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

On a sidenote, i've got the 7-11 Hello Kitty magnets to sell! Yes... the whole complete set of 31 magnets which took me an eternity to find... i think..... so do let me know if you're interested. I've already had a few potential buyers asking me about em....

Sleepy Thursday.... yawnz...

Fiona's Gems

Whoa! This must be a greeeeaaaaat week. My current favorite local celeb is on the cover of 8 Days!! Sad to say though, this was the biggest damn pic i could find. (no money to actually BUY the mag...)

"Wouldn't THIS turn U on??!?"

Some of you might just be asking now... well what is it about Fiona Xie that's so appealing?? First of all... i must say it's quite an easy question to answer.. i'm sure most of the guys around here would wholly agree that she's got a really hot bod and great looks to go with it!! I must admit though, she kinda talks funny (a bit squeakish) and i didn't really like her initially.... however, after more media exposure and the well-publicised "Bikini-Run" around town for The Champions, i guess i was smitten!! Those closer to me too... will know that i digs babes that are SFBB.... yes SFBB... take your time to figure out what it means... or if you give up you can ask... erm... John... the one who coined this term specially for me!! How nice eh....

That said about Fiona though, i must say alot of you must have seen the recent Citigems ad which stars Joanne Peh and Fiona haven't you?? There's been alot said about it and i also have my own views on the ad....

First of all, we all know that Fiona is pretty well-endowed yea?? And the press and media are starting to harp more and more about her... "buh-dang-dangs"... (a good example would be TNP's recent Boobiest Celeb survey). However, the Citigems ad i feel.... took this fact just a TAD bit too far.... didn't you find that almost EVERY scene involved her trying her very VERY best to expose her cleavage!?!? Sure, being a guy of course it can be appealing, but when you flout it everywhere, left, right and centre throughout the whole ad, it makes the whole Citigem ad kinda tasteless man.... haiz...

On a plus point, the ad is being shown less and less nowadays... think it's a good thing for everyone... and especially for her! For the moment though, she's getting more and more popular and being a Fiona Fan, i do hope she's got a lot more to offer in her career than just good looks!! Here's a great pic from the babe with the "face of an Angel and the body of a Devil"!

"Tanned, voluptuous and leggy. A true GEM." Posted by Hello

Hmmm.. speaking of "buh-dang-dangs"... Class 95 seems to be getting better and better these days hasn't it? The Morning Show's still as ridiculously humorous as ever before, and at night started to get a little addicted to The Dating Game on Wednesdays and Thursdays... with last week's episode revolving round a babe (Jaslyn) with a few other dudes vying for her....

Really got kinda funny when the guys showed how blur they were on air, making really dumb comments that would sure as hell rank as the lamest ever heard on radio... for example, when asked what they would wear to a costume party:

Jaslyn: "I want to go as Avril Lavigne and be a cool rocker chick!" - Hmmm. Weird choice but she's forgive coz she's chio and she's still young at 22.

Dude 1: "I would dress as Dracula coz... i like sucking pple..." - What the hell.

Dude 2: "I want to dress as Bill Gates! So that i can be rich for one day and give IPods to everyone in the party..." - Yeah right. Bill Gates giving away Apple stuff.

How dumdum can you get?! Anyway i didn't really find out who managed to win the date with Jaslyn.. anyone wanna fill me in on that??

On a final note... Glenn Ong asked this question that was totally out-of-this-world the other day. One of those questions that are just unanswerable man.....

Why do you point to your wrist when you ask for the time......

"What time is it?"

...... but never point to your crotch when you ask for the washroom??"

"It wasn't me... and err.. him..."

Go figure.

What the fug!!

Yes... seriously... What The Fug!!!!! Argh.... despite all the hype and the talk and the past week of training (erm... only trained 2 days actually..), i STILL managed only a PASS for my IPPT!!! What the !@#%!^!$#^!^$">!#%!^!$#^!^$!?!?!?!

"22 points! How to go JC?!!?"

Haiz... i was up really early in the morning and feeling inspired to make it happen and get the Gold i craved, but alas.... Anyway i guess the event didn't start off on the right note either. The moment i reached Maju and registered to get my number tag, i felt this Fire in my Belly... no doubt stemming from the brilliant Mee Siam my grandma cooked for dinner last night. Think i had a really really huge bowl and finished all the gravy even!! Guess that kinda did me in at the beginning already, as i felt a little weak after going to the toilet to... well... relieve myself.

Anyway when we started the stations, everything still fell into place.. at least for the first 3 stations. My sit ups i did 43... actually i stopped at 39 liao but for some reason my KEH SIAO assistant said.. "3 MORE!!".. and i gladly obliged... don't ask me why.

For standing broad jump, when it was my turn i kept thinking of Reynold... the man who can't do a decent jump to save his own life i think... hahah.. anyway it did affect me a bit coz my first jump was 232, which was a disaster in my book!! The 2nd time i was more focused and clearer at what i had to do... and i did a 250! Woohoo!

Shuttle run then... and as i thought, it was a breeze... i decided to wear my blue Salas for the day coz i feel really comfortable in them, and true enough, i did a 9.9 even though i thought i was kinda rusty....

The last and worst station then.... my bane... my nightmare.... CHIN UPS! I kept thinking to myself.... this has to be it.. i gotta do it... i know i can.. i know i can... and before i knew it, it was my turn up the bar.

PTI:"Number 120.... mount the bar and hang there till i say go!"

Tim's head:"Shit. My turn liao... time to get it over with and make it happen. The plan now... do 7 quick ones... then struggle to get the remaining two... but mount the bar? Sounds weird man.. mount the fugging..."

PTI:"GO!!"

ONE.

TH:"Argh. That didn't feel good... how come that one time took like half the strength out of me?? Nonono.. don't stop.."

TWO.

TH:"NNB! I thought do 7 first then think bout the next 2? How come i resting liao??!!"

THREE. FOUR.

TH:"CB... shouldn't have done 2 in a row... i feel maxed out... no no no.. like dat i need to RT.. like Kee Hoe!! NO!!!"

FIVE.

TH:"Ok.. ok... u got through the first hurdle... now get your Silver!!"

SIX.

PTI:"5 1/2. You were kicking."

TH:"What?!! That was kicking!!?!? Argh... I feel like kicking HIM on my next try..."

Si.... Si.... S....... FIVE. Dismount.

And there i was, dejected... i only qualify for a damn pass for the 2nd year running. All my training and stuff was all a waste of time... haiz... Anyway when it was time for my 2.4km run, i was really demoralised liao.... decided to take it easy and not push myself too hard, coz i plan to take it again in a week's time. Was really fed up while i was running though, with an expletive in my head for every step i took..... Left (Fug), Right (CB), Left (NB), Right (KNN)..... it's really kind of rhythmic and relaxing if you do it right though... hahah... in the end i came back with a measly timing of 10:26. BUT i must say, the Maju camp route is really really good... 3 rounds around the camp, and a great downslope right at the end!

Well that's it for now... but at least i know i have a week to resolve this. Yes. RESOLVE. For now... it's training time... grrr....

Toiling Away....

Hello everyone!! It's been some time hasn't it?? Well i'm so so soooooooo very glad that i'm finally on TOIL today. Yes TOIL... the ironic word to describe the Time-Off-In-Lieu that i have literally toiled for in the past couple of months..... This is really a good sign that i'm finally getting a rest time, although i must say my peak hasn't really ended yet. On a better note though, i see the end of this rubbish soon... so before long i'll be back to my lobo days, doing nuts around office and actually updating my blog regularly!! Hahah...

Anyway i managed to catch up with Qunwei yesterday evening, since he was in office when i was pulling out from my client's place. It was weeks since i last saw him and nothing could prepare me for what greeted me the moment i met him.....

"Cow beh Cow bu?!?!"

From the first day of school in NTU, i have never, ever, EVER seen him in such short hair!! It must have been quite a big decision for him, knowing his ever-typical style of centre parting with a little bit of colour. I'm really amazed though, that he has taken the decision to literally SHAVE 5 years off his age!! He really looks alot younger don't you think?? IMHO, he looks like a LAO BENG.... and he has the swearing abilities to keep up with an image like that....

I must say, despite telling myself to save up after getting... THE phone.... i have found myself in yet another precarious position after a weekend of senseless spending... ok maybe not senseless la but it's still quite amazing considering half my pay was already used to pay... THE phone. Anyway, the start of the spending was ALL SHUMIIN'S FAULT!!! Yes you heard that?!?! YOUR FAULT!!!! She told me of the one and only, ADIDAS Sale, which was going on over the weekend and i couldn't help but go over to take a look, knowing i needed to get soccer shoes (yes mine are already dying again....).

In the end, i did manage to find a pair of really really cheap soccer shoes!! In fact they were almost half price... but i must tell you, it was actually my previous pair before my current one... hold on let me link it back to my website.....

"Deja Vu??"

Amazing... i just realised i actually had those pair of shoes as early as September!!! This means it's officially true... my shoes last me for 4 months before i have to get a new one. 3 in a year then.... argh... and so that justifies my purchase of those very same shoes again... for 40 bugs!!

Talking about justifiable though, it's a bit hard to make the same judgement about my other purchases that day.... haiz..... Firstly, i bought a new ball. Yes a new ball... and finally a good one at that! It cost me 30 bugs but i'm gonna try and claim it from the Sunday Soggerers since we make use of it every week. Other than the ball though, i made the weirdest move by buying... a pair of.... BLADES!!!! The Salomon Motion 7!!!!!

"Poetry in Motion...."

How justifiable is it?? Well most importantly, it only cost me $150!!! YES CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!? Less than half price, and what's more the quality is there.... while everyone was trying out Adidas sneakers and sports shoes i was trying to fit into these beauties.... in the end i found a size that fit me and i took the whole box and met up with Sharon and Pegs, who were already queuing up by then. On a side note, i'm still using my old blades first.... and they really seem like they're dying soon so i'm pretty sure this was a well-taken decision!! (do i sound convincing?)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Managed to spot a very very VERY good DVD today and the moment i saw it, i made the decision to buy it. (Qunwei can vouch to that.)

"Intentionally blurred so Sharon can't see the price."

Yea i remember talking about how cool and brilliant this show was right? That's why it's classified as a Must-Have under my list of DVDs. Do let me know if there's anyone of you who haven't caught it yet or wanna catch it again!! Worth watching over and over again man... even the short clip, Bounding, if you can recall at the start of the movie... hee...

Last but not least, there was one new Addition (damn Audit terms... argh) which didn't cost me a single thing. It could just be true, the best things in life are free.....

"Spoiled after one month... ? Hmmm..."

After a whole month of waiting and haggling and waiting again, we've finally gotten our free spoiler! It took time and patience but now that it's here, i think the car looks even more stylish than it already was!! And yes it's free coz it was one of those free perks thrown in when we got the car!! Time to shake that flashy ass on the road then.....

PS: The pics in this post were taken from.. THE phone. And here i am gloating again... Muahahahah....

Soccer Pic of the Week

"Here's why farting should be a yellow-card offence..."

Leaving the Nokia World....

Yes... i have finally done it. It may have taken time, it may have been difficult, it may not even have seemed possible, but yes, i have finally changed my phone!!! For those of you who know about my Nokia 7270 debacle a little while back, this is the supposed sequel i guess... but no the happy ending with 7270 was not to be.. but rather, i've ran off with the Samsung D500C. Talk about Love At First Sight! (speaking of which i heard Closer is a great movie....

Why the Samsung D500C? Well, it first started when Jo introed me to this phone he said he was waiting for. I decided to go and check out the details online and found that this was quite simply a brilliant phone for its class. With bluetooth, infra, mp3 player and an excellent 1.3mpx camera, this phone had just about everything a phone could need..... and to top it all off, it was stylish with it's slide-up technique..... (yes i know that sounds kinky u ass). From then on i was waiting and waiting for it to be released, and last Fri, one day before this phone was released, my old HP died. 2 years of faithful service and it had to reward me with THIS. Sort of like an unexpected suicide of sorts... argh... and thus... my hand was forced......

"It looks lovely from all angles don't it?"

This is how the new phone looks like... i would say it trashes the Nokia 7270 in terms of sleekness and style by a loooooong way...

The colours and resolution on the phone are pretty clear... think it's the best i've seen on any phone so far even if it may not be the biggest screen. Anyway the pictures you take appear really photo quality on screen, making it sort of like a digital camera which you can use any time you want... (wait a min din i spend a few dollars on a new camera some time ago??)

So far i'm still getting used to the phone... it's really filled with lotsa features and that's why its taking me some time to get really familiarised with it but from what i've seen, it's really a power packed phone. SMS typing, which i was quite afraid would be terrible after switching from Nokia, turned out to be pretty easy to pick up and i would say it is just as user friendly as a Nokia, except for maybe a few habits here and there from using a Nokia almost all my life....

Anyway, this is quite the investment for me la.. dare not even say the price here as i can't believe i spent so much on it.... Peiwen says that i can buy a PDA with that kinda money, Huili says i can buy an airtix to New Zealand, Qunwei says that i can pay a few instalments for a Ring... errrr...... All in all i must say it takes a brave person to switch away from Nokia... and i'm proud to have made the switch, even if it may have been an overly expensive one. Let's hope this is the start of a great relationship with Samsung!!

For now... bread everyday man....

Audit Peak Sugs...

Argh... just been through a spell that has again got me into the "What-The-Hell-Am-I-Doing-Here??" mood..... It all started on Monday when i found that i was wrongly booked for a job and was to be taken out of it (ie. zuo bo for 2 days). I also knew that the senior and manager of my previous job was working all throughout the weekend... with the manager actually staying up till 6am on Mon morn and the senior not even bothering to go home for the day!!! Alas, i felt bad for not being able to help out during that time and thus, i volunteered my services for this few free days.

What a decision it turned out to be then... with me finding myself setting my own record for latest time worked... up till 4am Tuesday morning!! Really amazing.... i can recall myself feeling really wasted in the hours after midnight, struggling to concentrate and do my stuff without making any mistakes. I must say i've finally realised what so many of my peers were complaining about last year!!

Thankfully though, that was the latest of all the days i was there.. with Tuesday lasting till around midnight and for today, i managed to leave early at 8pm (last yr 8 would be LATE liao!!).... Another job down, another coming up, and most notably my double TIC job marathon in a fortnight's time.

Bring it on!!
